The
farm is a great place to gain lots of different experiences!
By arrangement with the Caunters, you can help feed the animals
and be part of farm life.
- Feeding
the hens and egg collecting is always popular.
- Year
round the cows are milked twice a day and morning and evening
the calves and young cattle are fed.
- Lambing
time from January to April is exciting with feeding and caring
all day long.
- Discover
the kitchen garden and collect some fruit and vegetables for
supper.
- Meet
the farm dogs Albert, Sue, Jessie, Lass and Gypsy, they love
to play.
- And
of course the cats Joe, Ben and Minky.

Children
and adults are welcome to explore and there is always lots of advice
about the best places to go.
- Walks
to the field called Hills with a game of hide and seek in the
bracken on the way.
- Head
along the valley where a climb in the ash tree is irresistible.
- Go
down to the orchard to play in the stream or in Sept/Oct pick
some apples.
